Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious with modern chic designs, but I was a bit disappointed that my non-smoking room was given away due to booking through a third party. The service was great, very professional and friendly, and they were accommodating with any issues. The location was convenient for our stay, but the freeway interchange access road wasn't ideal. The dining experience was what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn, but the breakfast could have been better.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I stayed in on the back side of the hotel for the price of $404 for one night was a nice size, with a comfy bed and chair, and easy-to-use furniture. However, the room itself was not up to par, making the stay unpleasant. On the bright side, the service was excellent, especially during the evenings with delicious New Orleans centric food offerings. The location was convenient, albeit not meeting the usual standards of a Hampton Inn. The dining experience was basic, offering a wide variety of options but nothing extraordinary. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel had both positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable but had visible mold on several pieces of furniture despite efforts with bleach. While neat and clean, there was a strong pungent smell of mildew in the air. The service was accommodating with requests like clean towels but lacked friendliness overall. Dining offered multiple choices though the quality varied. Overall, a mixed experience.
